SDC Installed Base

By analyzing this graph it is explaining the growth of the cars with the self driving feature. When you think about it, in four years we will have more then 8 million cars that have the capability of driving without an operator. Is this for the better or worst, the link bellow has an article explaining all the pros and cons.

Are they really worth it?

Are Self-Driving Cars really worth it?

That is the question, do you really want a robot to take full control of where you are going or do you want to make decisions for yourself. Take a look at this example imagine you get into a situation where it has two bad solutions. You come into traffic but there are people that are crossing and a car turning the other way. So what could happen is if you veer right you would hit all those people but if you veer left you hit those cars turning. Now would you want to take control in this situation or would you leave it up to a computerized car?
